Raised in Chicago by her Turkish grandmother, Olivia Gündüz-Willemin spent her childhood traveling between Europe and the States before settling in Switzerland at the age of nineteen. Studying at a Lycée Français, she developed a love of language and literature as a small child and has devoted much of her life since then to its study. She has a BA in English & Comparative Literature and an MA unofficially on Edith Wharton (officially in English Literature), both from the University of Geneva. When she doesn't have her nose buried in early twentieth century books, she can be found drinking coffee with her Westie, hanging out around Medievalists, or zipping around Switzerland on very timely trains.
